Ed Steinhoff moved from Coquille, Oregon to the Yreka area in 1993, as a mobile mechanic. In May of 1996 he decided to expand and open his own shop, and by 1999 he had expanded once again to include the current location on Main Street. Since 1999 the store has continued to grow and now has 4 employees, 3 of which have been employed for him in excess of 10 years. The store has also seen numerous expansions over the years to better serve his customers. Steinhoff Parts now warehouses one of the largest hydraulic fittings stores in the area. In addition, he has a large and varied selection of Baldwin filters, hard to find fittings, and makes custom hydraulic hoses in sizes not found elsewhere.
